Megan Geckler, “Every step you take, every move you make,” 2010. When Megan begins creating, she thinks about how the viewer will encounter the work. She says, “A ‘wow or WTF’ moment, followed by wandering around and experiencing the piece from all different angles. Basically LA is a place where everyone does coke and wears blazers and fucks while wearing leather jackets and if your uncle won’t give you money to ‘open a club’ (code for ‘settle your heroin debt to James Spader’) you’ll have to give hammerheads to dudes which is pretty much the WORST THING ONE CAN EVER DO but thank god for your friends who will save you from going gay-for-pay hahaha I’m gonna die when you drive me home now. I LOVE THE ‘80S!!!
