The Bird And The Bee - “I’m Into Something Good” Cover

So the show on Friday was PHENOMENAL to say the least. The star of the show was Inara George’s unborn child. Oh and John Oates showed up and played a couple songs with them, but WHATEVER WHO CARES when there is an UNBORN BABY on the stage getting jiggy wid it. Ok but seriously. Seriously. Seriously.

I kind of sccred off a bunch of the people who I shoved my way in front of so I could be arms distance away from the stage when I started to clap in time with the band during “My Love” which kind of made my life. But I don’t care because if you go to a rock show, and stand within jumping distance of the stage, it’s blasphemous not to dance. It really pissed me off that The Bird And The Bee dished out such a stellar performance and less than half the people there were shakin’ it. Next time just give me your ticket to a sold out show and go rot in front of your ipod. Dancing is a basic sign of appreciation to a band when they play live. It’s courtesy to dance. And if said band only plays once a year or so then you better make it damn well known that you enjoyed it. Because the more you exhibit your appreciation, the more likely they will want to play for you again. Shows aren’t about watching the band like a troupe of performing baboons, it’s about relishing in their glory. And for all of you out there that know what I’m talking about, I salute you.
